Who We Are

Specialty Alarm Engineering is a full service fire and security alarm company. We opened our doors in 1975, when Alex Georgopulos decided he wanted to stop working for large companies that focused on speed, and instead focus on quality. Over the years, as the company has grown, Specialty Alarm Engineering has continued to deliver top notch fire and security systems. In 2008, Alex’s son Mike joined the business full time, and in 2021, Mike took over ownership of the business, continuing to focus on quality and excellence in all aspects of the business.

We have been family owned and operated since 1975, and pride ourselves on the personalization of each system we install. Each system is designed to fit your needs, and the needs of the space.

MORE ABOUT OUR 6-STEP PROCESS

  • We assess your space and discuss what you’re looking for, what’s required for your space, and how we can help.

  • Based on what was discussed during the assessment meeting, we put together a proposal, and send it to you. We’ll answer any questions that you have, and if you’d like to move forward, you’ll accept the proposal.

  • After you accept the proposal, we will design the system. If there are any permits required, we will submit the design for permits.

  • Once we have the system designed, it’s time for installation. Our knowledgeable and experienced technicians will install the system as designed.

  • No job is complete until we have performed a final inspection of the system to make sure everything works.

  • At the end of the project, we will train you on how to use your system. We’ll also make sure you know how to stay in touch with us for ongoing service, and future inspections.
